I'm working on an Education Law Attorney search with a well-regarded, mid-sized firm with a statewide California practice..
The firm represents school and community college districts across California, and their Students & Special Education Practice Group is growing. If you're someone who finds meaning in work that directly impacts how students are educated and supported, this is a role worth knowing about.
The firm:
• SF and East Bay offices (hybrid/remote flexibility)
• A mission-driven practice with real depth; you'll represent public entities on some of the most nuanced and consequential matters in education law
• A collaborative team culture where attorneys are empowered to take ownership and grow
The work:
• Litigation and administrative proceedings, including discovery, pleadings, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings
• A broad variety of matters arising in public entity representation. No two days look the same
• Special education and student-focused matters where your work has a direct, tangible impact on California communities
Comp: $135,000–$175,000 DOE + comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with match & profit-sharing
Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of litigation and/or administrative process experience. Education law or public entity background is a plus, but not a requirement; the firm values initiative and a genuine interest in this space.
