I'm recruiting for a Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney with a well-established, full-service California firm. The role sits in their Tax, Trusts & Estates group in Orange County.

Clients are high net worth individuals and families who need sophisticated planning and hands-on trust administration.

The work:

• Sophisticated estate planning for high net worth clients
• Drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts and related planning documents
• Trust administration

What you need:

• 10+ years of trusts & estates experience
• Extensive trust administration and sophisticated estate planning experience
• Significant drafting experience with revocable and irrevocable trusts
• Admission to the California State Bar
• Strong academic credentials, plus strong writing and client skills

Nice to have:

• Large firm experience
• LL.M. in Taxation

Comp: $275,000–$325,000 base DOE. Hit the 1,900-hour minimum and total comp (base + discretionary bonus) is around $475,000. The bonus can go higher with hours billed and collected above 1,900, and there's a separate bonus on work you originate.
